Do I get to choose a specific artist or craft?
Depending on your requirements, we recommend artisans who best serve your brief. We work with experts who have been perfecting their practice for generations. If you’re interested in working with a specific artist or craft, we first aim to accommodate your request within our existing partnerships. We encourage you to be descriptive with your requirements while filling out the contact form.
What happens after I fill out the contact form?
Once you fill out the form, we contact you as soon as it is feasible to discuss your requirements. We encourage you to provide as much detail as possible while filling out the form and choose a time that is convenient for you.
How does the artist understand and interpret my requirements?
Depending on the type of product you intend to co-create (e.g. furniture, apparel, accessories), we recommend experts who are a suitable fit. A clear brief goes a long way in interpreting your requirements from concept to finish.
May I visit the artisans or the workshop where my piece will be made?
While we encourage you to stay in touch with the artisans working on your order, due to logistical constraints, you might not always have physical access to the team. We can arrange visits in special cases; please do mention it while filling out the contact form.
May I collaborate with the artisan on the design process?
Yes! We encourage you to stay in touch with the artisans working on your order and we will send you regular updates on its progress.
Are there unique or rare materials that I may choose for my order?
We furnish you with all information regarding available materials, treatments and finishes. While it would be our pleasure to accommodate special requests, we refrain from endorsing the use of illegal materials and treatments.
Can I use my own materials?
Please feel free to suggest materials in your possession and we will aim to accommodate your request within reason.
When will I know the final price of my bespoke order?
Once we understand your requirements, we share an estimate for your order. However, the final price may vary slightly in case of unforeseen additional costs. These will be intimated to you for approval as soon as they come to our attention. You will receive the confirmed price for your bespoke order during the final stages of development.
Does it take long to create a bespoke piece?
We aim to understand your requirements before we share a timeline. Given that your creation will be handcrafted using traditional techniques, we pride ourselves on quality above other considerations.
What if I don’t like the final product?
This usually doesn’t happen. Our process is meticulous and inclusive so that your ideas and feedback are incorporated through timely stages of approval. However, given that your bespoke order is not part of our regular catalogue, we unfortunately cannot accommodate returns and refunds after the payment is made.
